News Virtual GPA TALK on Sustainability in Financial Services 23/03/2021

GPA Academy and GPA Law Firm organized another virtual “GPA Talks”, which took place on March 22nd, via Zoom application, under the theme “Sustainability in Financial Services”.

The presentation was hosted by Ricardo Couto, GPA’s Lawyer in the Financial Regulatory and Compliance area, who introduced the context of the current regulatory framework concerning the sustainability impact of financial products and services.

The fundamental concepts regarding ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance factors), the regulated matters and the key elements that are intended to be achieved with the new regulatory framework, were explained.
