Considering the evolution of the epidemiological situation in Portugal, with a sharp increase in the incidence rate and transmission index of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the Government, through Council of Ministers Resolution no. 157/2021, of 27 November, declared the state of calamity, from 1 December 2021, until 11.59 pm on 20 March 2022, having also approved a set of preventive measures, mainly based on a more frequent use of masks, mandatory presentation of the digital certificate for access to certain events and services and mass testing.
Additionally, Decree-Law no. 104/2021, of 27 November has also been published, which changed the measures in the scope of the COVID-19 disease pandemic.
