The Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 40-A / 2020 published on the 29th of May, extended the declaration of the situation of calamity throughout the national territory until 11:59 PM on the 14th of June 2020, without prejudice to the extension or modification as the evolution of the epidemiological situation justifies.
Following the latest measures approved by the Government, namely after the end of the State of Emergency, this new extension has once again eased the control measures to combat the pandemic, with the Government opting for a less intense list of restrictions and closures than that that was in force. However, considering the outbreaks located in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon, some special limitations are set there that should be re-evaluated next Thursday, June 4th.
