News News Flash - Exceptional measures under the State of Emergency 27/03/2020

Following the declaration of the State of emergency by the President of the Republic, through the Decree of the President of the Republic No. 14-A / 2020, of 18 March, the first formal set of measures announced by the Government was recently published.

Thus, the Government, through Decree No. 2-A / 2020, of 20 March, establishes a set of new exceptional and temporary measures to respond to the current public health emergency caused by the epidemic of the disease COVID -19 , which concern, inter alia, the rights of movement and economic freedoms, including the rules applicable to the operation or suspension of certain types of installations, establishments and activities.

As for the support measures for companies and workers affected by the Covid-19 virus outbreak, mentioned earlier in our information notes, we emphasize that they have not been subject to further changes or clarifications. Therefore, and at least for the time being, these regimes remain in place, without any changes.
