News News Flash - Draft regulatory standard regulating the RJDS 05/11/2020

The Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF) disclosed for public consultation, on the 28th October, the draft regulatory standard on the regulation of the legal regime for the distribution of insurance and reinsurance (RJDS), approved as an appendix to Law No. 7/2019, of 16 January (Public Consultation No. 10/2020).

Considering, on the one hand, the need to update regulatory provisions in accordance with the new legal framework, such as, for example, Regulatory Standard No. 17/2006-R, of 29 December and, on the other hand, the express purpose by the ASF to condense the regulation of certain matters, a draft standard with 79 articles, divided into VII chapters, is disclosed for consultation.
