News News Flash - Angolan Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Code 13/11/2020

On the 11th of November, Law No. 38/20 was published in the Angolan Official Gazette, approving the Angolan Penal Code. Thus, the 1886 Penal Code was revoked, as well as the subsequent statutes in replacement of any of its legal provisions.

Also, on November 11, Law No. 39/20 was published in the Official Gazette, approving the Angolan Penal Procedure Code, revoking the 1929 Penal Procedure Code and the subsequent related statutes.
