In the context of the current situation of calamity caused by the disease COVID-19, the Government approved Decree-Law No. 20-G / 2020, of 14 May, which created a system of incentives for the implementation of security measures in micro, small and medium-sized companies aimed at adapting economic activity in the face of the new context of lack of confidence and economic recovery, allowing micro, small and medium-sized companies to mitigate the increased costs, namely, with the purchase of personal protective equipment for workers, hygiene equipment, disinfection contracts and costs with the reorganization of workplaces, as well as necessary changes to the layout of establishments.
