News GPA reinforces competences in the field of Data Protection 12/03/2021

Jaime Vieira da Silva, Managing Associate in the Commercial and Corporate practice area, and Tomás Gonçalves da Costa, GPA’s Associate Lawyer in Regulatory Financial Law, achieved the CDPP (Certified Data Protection Practitioner) at ICS (The Irish Computer Society), thus joining other GPA’s Associates who have already achieved this certification.

The CDPP Certificate is awarded by accredited international organizations, The ICS and The Association of Data Protection Officers. GPA Academy, in cooperation with ICS, promotes courses in Portugal to provide the accreditation. The CDPP thus equips Data Protection Officers with the necessary skills and competencies to meet and maintain all aspects of data protection compliance.

In order to allow continuing training, GPA strengthens the professional skills and the personal development of lawyers, to provide good customer service.
