News GPA organizes virtual Sustainable Breakfast on Insurance and Environmental Responsibility 31/03/2020

GPA Academy and GPA Advogados will organize the first virtual Sustainable Breakfast, on April 2, at 9.15 am, via Zoom application.

This session, which will deal with “Insurance and Environmental Responsibility”, will be in charge of Miguel Duarte Santos, coordinating associate of the Financial Regulatory department of GPA Advogados and will have as a summary the analysis of mandatory non-contractual liability insurance provided for in the Industry System Responsible (SIR) and financial guarantee insurance provided for under Decree-Law No. 147/2008, of 29 July, insofar as both cover liability related to claims with an environmental impact, and optional insurance.

The format of these sessions remains as to their essence: the lecturer will make a brief presentation on the topic, which will last about 40 minutes, followed by a time for questions and debate among the participants.

In order to better respond to the needs of the market, it was also decided to broaden the themes of the next sustainable breakfasts in order to address recent legislative measures, namely, relevant changes in labour and tax matters.

The themes and dates of the next sessions will be announced in due course - they can also be consulted via the website and LinkedIn page of GPA Advogados.
