GPA Law Firm sponsors the organisation of the V Lisbon Maritime Law Conference. Centenary of the Hague Rules. Carriage of Goods by Sea.

GPA Law Firm wanted to join in the celebration of the Centenary of the Hague Rules by sponsoring the organisation of the ‘V Lisbon Maritime Law Conference. Centenary of the Hague Rules. Carriage of Goods by Sea’, organised by the Centro de Direito Marítimo e dos Transportes da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (Maritime and Transports Law Centre of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon), FDUL (Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon) and CIDP - Centro de Investigação de Direito Privado (Private Law Research Centre), under the coordination of Professor Manuel Januário da Costa Gomes.

The Conference will take place at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon) from 27 to 29 November.

GPA Law Firm Partner Francisco Rodrigues Rocha, head of the transportation and maritime practice areas, will be speaking at the Conference on ‘Carrier's liability exclusion and general averages’.
