GPA Law Firm celebrates 20 years in the Portuguese legal market in 2025, remaining steadfast in the mission it has long since defined: "Teaming with our Clients. Building Trust".

Our commitment to being a strategic partner to our clients has driven our pursuit of innovative legal solutions.  Through GPA Network, we have expanded across Portugal and beyond, reaching Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and joined the international network GGI Global Alliance.

Positioning ourselves as an agent of change, with increasing societal responsibility, we have developed relevant initiatives in sustainability and social responsibility, focusing on strategic areas with consistent and positive impact, including pro bono financial and legal support to social organizations, education, professional reintegration, equal opportunities and volunteering.

In this spirit, GPA Law Firm took its first steps, guided by the founding partners that came from the law firm integrated in the international network Landwell (PWC correspondent). They were joined by other partners from prestigious law firms, who are aligned with GPA Law Firm’s mission and values.

We are proud of our fast paced and sustained growth over the years. With a young, multidisciplinary and dynamic team of over 100 professionals, GPA Law Firm quickly ranked among the 25 largest law firms in Portugal.

It is thus the moment to thank all our clients and other stakeholders for their trust, and all of those who build (and built) their careers with us, leaving their mark on our history. The challenges they have brought us have decisively shaped GPA Law Firm into what it is today.
