News GPA Executive Breakfast organizes a 3rd debate on the New Legal Framework for Insurance and Reinsurance Distribution 08/05/2019

The New Legal Framework for Insurance and Reinsurance Distribution – Law No. 7/2019, of January 16, will be again in debate at the 3rd edition of GPA Advogados/GPA Academy Executive Breakfast. As in previous editions, the meeting is scheduled for the offices of GPA Advogados, at Rua Sousa Martins, No. 1 – 6th Floor, in Lisbon, next 9th May, from 9 to 10 am, and will be oriented by the Coordinating Associate, Miguel Duarte Santos.

This new framework transposes the European Directive 2016/97, reinforcing the requirements for the exercise of the above activity, with compulsory training of workers, as well as the requirements for the marketing of insurance.

The procedural regime applicable to violations and the special crimes of the insurance sector and pension funds, whose assessment is to be made by the supervisory authority, are also included in this statute.
