News GPA Executive Breakfast debates DSP II - New Legal Framework of Payment Services and Electronic Money 31/01/2019
The new legal framework of payment services and electronic money, Decree-Law No. 91/2018, of 12 November will be discussed at the next Executive Breakfast of GPA Law Firm / GPA Academy. Our associate, Miguel Duarte Santos, will be at the meeting, which will take place on 12 February at the premises of GPA Advogados, Rua Sousa Martins, no 1 – 6th, Lisboa, from 9am to 10am.
By approving the legal framework on payment services and electronic money, this Decree-Law transposes into domestic law Directive (EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and of the Council (also known as PSD2)which regulates the access to the activity of payment institutions and by payment services, as well as the access to the activity of electronic money institutions and to the activity of issuing electronic money.
