Registration for the 11th edition of the GPA Academy Data Protection Course, a training that includes certification in Data Protection Practices, by the Irish Computer Society, is open.
It will take place on January 21, 22 and 23, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, at GPA facilities and aims to deepen and certify the relevant knowledge for the practice of functions not only as data protection officer, but of any other functions that data processing and GDPR compliance.
The course program, a total of 21 hours plus examination, are the following topics: Introduction to Privacy; Data Protection Principles; Scope of application of the GDPR; Roles and responsibilities in Data Processing; The Processing of Special Category Data; Data Breach; The Rights of Data Subjects; DPIA; Registration of Treatment Activities; The Data Protection Officer; The role of regulatory authorities; Responsibility and Sanctions; Practical applications of the Right to Data Protection.
