The EU Regulation on Key Information Documents for Packaged Retail and Insurance-Based Investment Products (the PRIIPs Regulation) will be on the table at the next GPA Law Firm / GPA Academy Executive Breakfast which will take place at the premises of GPA Law Firm, at Rua Sousa Martins, no 1 – 6th, in Lisbon, next January 1 from 9am to 10am.
This new regime introduced serious alterations to the obligations of financial intermediaries who produce, commercialize and provide advice onpackage retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs). Very recently, CMVM Regulation no. 8/2018, which came into force at the beginning of 2019, listed some additional features of this regime in the Portuguese legal system.
